Petaling Jaya, March 21- The One Academy and FINAS jointly organized a Masterclass in Film Directing at Auditorium A, Sunway Resort Hotel by Kyle Balda, an internationally renowned animator and film director, best known for co-directing the animated films The Lorax (2012), with Chris Renaud, and Minions (2015), with Pierre Coffin. Working as an animator on several box office hits including Jumanji, Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc, Toy Story 2 and Despicable Me, this highly anticipated Masterclass participants include local film directors, animators, practitioners and students.

Balda’s MasterClass is broken down into several lessons, including the importance of story, the creation of themes, visual development and storytelling, creation of caricatures and styles, story development as well as the art and production design.
