Petaling Jaya, 1st October – In conjuction with Freedom Film Fest 2018, Malaysia Documentary Asscociation (MyDOCS) with the support from the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS) have successfully organized a masterclass titled ‘Taking Local Stories to The Next Level’ led by eminent award-winning filmmaker, Mr. Joakim Demmer today at PJLA Theatre, Jaya One, Petaling Jaya.

Focusing on the essentials of documentary filmmaking and storytelling, Mr. Demmer interactively shared a comprehensive look at his documentary methods, creative decisions, styles, and cinematic thinking translated by his experiences working across the globe.
