Tan Seng Kiat’s award winning film, ‘Shuttle Life’ has been officially selected to compete with 14 other films across the globe vying for the coveted Golden Peacock at the 48th edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI).

Previously, ‘Shuttle Life’ about the struggle of a young man who supports his family and emotionally challenged with tragedy and conflict has given Seng Kiat international spotlight with his official nomination as Best New Director at the upcoming 54th Taipei Golden Horse Awards this year. Joined by his Taiwanese cinematographer Chen Ko Chin in Best Cinematography. It has also received notable accolades including Best Film, Best Actor (Jack Tan) and Best Cinematographer in the Asian New Talent portion of the 20th Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) as well as Best Actor, Best Cinematography and Best Production Design at 12th Chinese Young Generation Film Forum Awards in Wuhan, China.

IFFI, founded in 1952 will feature other notable films from all over the world in the competition section namely “Ana, mon amour” (Romania-Germany-France), “BPM” (France), “Angels Wear White” (China), “Racer and the Jailbird” (Belgium-Netherlands-France), “Dark Skull” (Bolivia-Qatar), “Freedom” (Germany-Slovakia), “The Great Buddha +” (Taiwan), “Blank 13” (Japan), “Marionette” (South Korea), “Still Night Still Light” (Canada-China-Mexico), and “A Man of Integrity” (Iran). This one of the most significant film festivals in Asia will take place that will be held from November 20- 28 in Goa, India.
