Big Congratulations to our Malaysian filmmaker, Arangkannal Raj for winning the Best Debutante Director award at 3rd Lakecity International Film Festival, Gwalior, India through his feature film, ‘Thottam: The Garden’. Previously honored as Best Film at the 9th Norway Tamil Film Festival in Oslo, Norway, the film starring KS Maniam, Singai Jegan, Aghilvarman, Thana, Ruban and Vivian Chong that was released in November 2017 revolves around the struggle and sacrifice of the estate people in defending their rights without it going into the hands of corporates.
